I understand there is a fuse in the heater wire that covers the ice maker water line that keeps it from freezing up in cold weather on a Norcold frig that can be removed when unneeded. Does anyone know where this fuse might be? Inline or in the fuse panel? If the fuse panel, how do you make the push button fuses pop out? Thanks.

Don't know of a fuse just for the heater wire..The small round unit that clips on to the ice maker solenoid is the thermostat that controls the heater for the water line...Follow the brown wire out of the thermostat that connects to the white wire on the heater line and disconnect it ...That should do it...

I have the service manual for the 1200.
I checked and there is a line heater along with a water valve heater and a dispenser water line heater. All 3 12v heaters are wired together and controlled by a temperature switch. The 12v comes from the power board.
I've placed the 5mb 1200 service manual online. I'll have to remove it in a few days as it's 5mb.

Thanks for the responses, it should help me disconnect the heater line. Also, appreciate the manual pages, nice to know what temperatures the thermostate turns on and off.
