Norcold Problems

I have a 2006 adventurer 38G. All of a sudden I cannot get any power to my norcold 1201Lmriss 4, door fridge with ice maker. when I press the on power button, nothing happens. I have checked the fuses and all appear o.k. where would you guys recommend I look next. I do have power to all of my opther appliances i.e. TV, Oven etc etc.

The control board works off 12V there is a fuse on control board one is for 110 heating elements and the other is for 12 volts.

If this is after the latest recall work it may be the thermocouple which is not good news. Better start checking out Amish cooling units.

Assuming you had the latest recall done. There is a red light on the black box visible in the rear of the unit. If the light is lit the cooling unit may be bad or the recall box may be defective. There have been numerous revisions on this latest recall. A tech needs to determine the answer to this. Unless of course there is obvious yellow stains on the
cooling unit which would indicate a failure. Hopefully it is just a defective recall kit and Norcold will replace at no charge other than your time and fuel to get to an authorized repair facility

FYI,They are up to Rev E now.

I'm sure if you email or call Dale Sumner who is a member of this site he can help you. No doubt in my mind. Been there done that.
