We have a 2006 Voyage 38J and have had off and on problems with the basement air. When compressor #2 comes on, it runs for 3 minutes and both compressors turn off. This continues to happen. If we turn off compressor #2, #1 will run okay. Winnebago changed the start capacitors in 2008 which seemed to fix the problem until last year. We took it to Cummins in Denver and it ran perfectly. Everything checked out okay. Ten days later it did it again for a few days and then okay for a couple of weeks as we returned home using generator and a/c on the road. This July we left and everything okay the first day, the second day same thing--compressor #2 would shut down the a/c. Voltage is okay, using generator about 120, amperage around 20 plus. Voltage at campsites about 115 (50 amp service).

Problem is likely the start capacitor again. When one fails it overloads the circuit, shutting it down. They can be purchased at Camping World for about $20.00 ea. Never replace only one, always both.
