I would like to switch to synthetic any experience out there?

i changed to amsoil series 3000 5w30 (7.5 qts) synthetic oil with a 2 qt oil filter from oemy or napa #1794. i changed to amsoil 10w40 in my onan genny, 2 qts with the onan oil filter #122-0836. i used a 3 finger oil filter wrench #775-9018 from napa for the genny filter.

I changed my dino to synthetic at 13,000 miles - now indicating 85,600 mi - have not looked back. Using Napa Synthetic (usually) 10W-30 and a 1060 Gold 1Qt filter.

I run castrol synthetic with a two quart filter, does great.

ditto, Mobil 1, 5-30W with NAPA 1060 gold filter. I'll just say "it improved" gas milage to eliminate any aguments on how much.

Also changed to Synthetic Tranny fluid.....

I am happy with Mobil 1 Truck/SUV, 5 qts at Wal Mart for about $25. Changed once a year just before the two month winter hibernation. Rotella 5w40 synthetic in the generator, same schedule. The toad gets Penz 10w30. Three different engines. Three different needs. Three different oils.
