On Demand Hot Water Heater Problem

I own a 2016 Winnebago Itasca Meridian 40r and from day one we have experienced problems with the on-demand water heater. This weekend the heater started out fine however the second day required that I open the outside cover and push the little reset button. It immediately fires up but I had to reset it several times over the weekend. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

The problems with On Demand WH is why I opted for an old fashioned tank WH in my home. They don't seem to have a good track record for reliability, although the idea a great, no tank of heated water 24/7, energy savings, etc.

Since it's a 2016 RV, I'm sure it's under warranty, take it to an authorized service shop and document the problem before warranty time is up.

Mine has been working great. Perhaps it's something to do with the propane when it ignites. I'm sure it needs to have some safety sensors built in to insure that there is a flame and not raw propane. Obviously needs to go back for some warranty repairs. I had a similar issue on a portable propane heater in the past.

Check to see if you have any uninvited guess in the flume piping. Sometimes moths, yellow jackets, bees, spiders, like to build up in those dark places. It's recommended that you use one of those BBQ flume cleaner brushes to run it up thru there and the fridge one also if you have a gas fridge, at the beginning of the season to ensure you get good gas running thru without obstructing. Make sure the pipe with the holes in it or the one that let's air into the mix is not fully closed or fully open also.
Have someone fire it up while you are watching the igniter to see if it is doing it's job properly.
If all else fails take it to the dealer, it under warranty hopefully
