Angry Onan genset cover gone, need one

After getting back from a trip for Nascar, we discovered that our front cover on our genset is gone! Somewhere in another state no doubt. It says that using it without the cover can damage it, so, we are scurrying trying to get a new cover for it. Any suggestions would be helpful. so far I can get interior parts for it, but, not the cover. Help!!

Happened to me too . . .

Same thing happen to me on my 2500 microlite. I went to a Onan dealer and they ordered one. Took about 3 days. Cost was $ 119.00. for about $ 2.00 worth of plastic.

I drilled holes in the new one and installed safety wires so when it falls off, again, I will still have it.

I lost mine also. The last trip out to the races it was close to 100 degree and mine got hot and shut off. I opened the comp. door and it ran the next three days just fine.. That sould get you by until you can get one in. Happy Trails.. Oh, yea, changed the oil when I got back to base camp..
