ONAN QD3200 air flow??

Should there be a large volume of warm air coming out from under the unit during operation? Or do i have a leak somewhere? All previous times running it were either on asphalt sand or gravel so I was surprised by how much the grass was being blown around. Also seems like more noise comes from under the unit than out the exhaust and up the gen-turi

Yes, that's normal. Its the air flow from cooling the engine.

I have the same model generator and yes, the air flow is normal. It takes a bit of air to keep a air cooled diesel cool.
