Well we took our 1st big trip out to South Dakota/Wyoming in July. A total of 3700+/- miles for us. Overall it was great--but we had our problems going out there. Our generator (Onan 5500) it turns out was running on 1 cyl-the 2nd cyl had a broken push rod and cam. We found a great Onan cert sevice center in South Dakota--Dakota RV. They couldn't have been more helpfull or accomidating to us. We called and arranged for them to look at it and they ended up dropping the genrator out of the rig and replaced the engine. It was a little tough working with Onan to get the ok to have Dakota RV do the warrenty work, but a phone call Winnie helped move things along. After all was said and done we had a new engine in the generator and now it works great!!! And aside from a bunch of other minor problems our trip was GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Hi Bob - it is always a challenge trying to get things fixed on the road as we have found out. But like you, Winnie has pulled and pushed strings for us and that has made all the difference in the world. We know things are going to break as an absolute given, the difference is how we are treated at service time. We are real happy (still) campers.

It really is fun for us being on the road and I'm glad it was fun for you
