I spent some time researching a screen room versus the rooms that attach to the awning. I wanted to share one that I found that I think is superb. It's very well made, stands up well in wind and has flaps on all four sides to open or close. You can also buy an optional Rain Fly to make it completely waterproof. Here is a link to learn more about it at Amazon.com.

They do make good stuff. During my PopUp camper days they made some porta-potty and shower units that were top notch.

I have seen stand-alone screen rooms around various campsites here and there. If you are somewhere with benign weather, insect problems and you are going to stay put for a few days I think they make a lot of sense.

The awning-attached screen rooms are handy but I would be very scared of using them due to the possibility of sudden weather changes destroying it and your awning before you can disassemble it.

We had the same Paha Que you provided a link to. We wound up selling it. It is great for keeping rain and bugs out but the mesh is so dense it is difficult to see out of. If that doesn't bother you it is a great screen room. Easy to set up and take down.

I am using it here in Florida for the Winter and we have insects called " no see ums" they are very small and this mesh keeps them out because it is dense. I didn't notice any problem looking out.
