I have been real lucky this summer. The parks we have stayed have nailed our coach with their d$#@ lawn mowers throwing stones at the sides of the coach. I have 12 to 15 paint chips. I have tried to touch them with the factory touch-up paint but they still look bad. Has anyone found a way to either fix them or someone that can fix them. I was told that car dealers use people with small air brushes to touch up cars on their lots, but I haven't been able to confirm that.

Anyone have any ideas??

Go to any of the car dealers in your area and speak to the used car manager. He will be able to hook you up with one of the services that fix chips/scratches. We use these guys for several of the dealers I deliver autos for and they do a great job. They usually pull their trailer up, set up a small canopy and go to work. When they are finished you can't tell where the blemish was.

Last winter in FL the maintenance man cut my sewer hose with his weed wacker. He did say anything. When I dumped my sewage it gushed out all over. Luckily I closed the handle fast and my neighbor wasn't home. Put a new hose on and hosed off the area. Yuk.

As too the front mask. I ordered it on my full body painted new coach. $1295 msrp. In my opinion, probably not worth it. My old Vectra had 81,000 miles on it and the front wasn't marked up.

A tip when using touch up paint. Wait until most dry and shave the excess off with a razor blade. This will make repairs smooth to the touch and make them less noticeable. Nothing is perfect unless you want a expensive paint job to cover up a small chip. Works for me!
