We have 2 triangle shaped chips up near the hinge point of our right rear bay door that go down to base metal. The dealer has said Winnebago won't fix this since it is a "customer problem" because we don't have straps on the door...We have the short wire cables that came with the RV on each of the bay doors that keep them from swinging up too high. Does anyone know what straps they are talking about? The service manager who denied us was unavailable on Friday and we won't be able to talk to him until Monday morning.
These are not scratches since they run up and down and not side to side and are nowhere else on the coach, as I would expect if we had actually rubbed up against something.

On our first factory service visit (the coach was in warranty), Winnie touched up several paint chips gathered over several months of coach use at no cost. We have found Winnie very generous with "good will" repairs but those are handled on a case by case basis.

I have no idea what straps the dealer is talking about since I'm not familiar with your model. Give the factory a call and talk it over with them.
