Our 2008 Sightseer has a single stage Paralax converter and I'd like to change it out to a multistage unit that will increase battery life and reduce boil over. Seems that Progressive has a unit that will do the job and should "slide in to the existing opening". Has any one done this? Is this the best brand?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I installed a Iota 45 amp converter in our 2005 Itasca sunrise 33V been very happy with the unit the batterys cruise @ 13.62 volts and have not added water it's been 6 months since the switch It's always plugged in to shore power. If you look into DriVers posts you will find a step by step installation on this unit good luck!

BestConverter - Converters, Inverters, Electrical Supplies, Electronics

Scroll down a bit and on the left side of your screen should be a Frame that says "Extra Info" most everything you need to know should be at one of the links there.

Back to the link above and you can order.. I kind of like several Converters including the Progressive Dynamics units with charge wizard either internal or pluged in.
IOTA with IQ4 technology
and some Xantrex units.

The full list of top rated is much longer and any of them would be better than what you hve.. Randy can give specific adivce.

I used the Progressive Dynamics with Charge Wizard. Only have to check the battery water once a year and then only add very little water. It's been installed for 3 years with no problems. The MH stays plugged in to shore power at all times.
