Parking brake won't disengage

I have a 2011 Winnebago View. Saturday I attended the PSU/Alabama football game and was parked on a very slight downward incline in a grass RV parking area. When I went to leave the parking break wouldn't disengage. The brake handle would move freely but there was no tension and it wouldn't click out of engagement. I had to have it towed to the local Mercedes dealership where I'm hoping they will be able to look at it tomorrow morning. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide.

I don't know about yours. But, the park and on my Winnebago Adventurer is controlled by a hydrolic system. Sometimes the switch located at the hydrolic pump goes bad and the breaks won't release. All I had to do was replace the switch. I think it cost about $80+ and wasn't too hard to replace.
Bty the park (on lever selector) and the emergency both work from this pump.
