I have a 95 Winnebago Vectra. On the passenger side window it has a pull-down sun shade. I pulled down too hard and the shade came off the rod. I need to get the plastic covered valance off to get at the rod, any ideas on how to get that cover off or get it to move enough to get at that rod?

You might check again, on our coach, the rod lifts out on one end and pulls out of the slot on the other end.

OK, the rod did slide off the front end but it doesn't seem to want to pull out of the other end. I can barely get my fingers in there or get the front of the rod down thru the slot so it will clear the front bracket so I could pull it forward to get it off the back bracket. And even if I get it off I don't think the space is wide enough to get the rod out or get it back up there with the curtain rolled on it.
