OK: Not sure how to word this but. I would like to replace a picture from the factory with a mirror so I get to watch the news while eating since the wife makes me sit with back to TV. Haven't figured out how they have the thing mounted to the wall. I assume (you know what that makes me) it is held on with some kind of velcro but haven't figured out how to remove it. Want to put a mirror in the same frame and remount so need to get off in one piece. Thanks for any help in advance.

Chucknmare welcome to irv2
My mirror that I removed to place family pics was held on wall at bottom of frame with velcro but the top was held on by two picture frame clips. Pulled bottom of frame than lifted up off clips.

Don't know what year, kind, or brand of RV you have but a friend of ours took his mirror off by breaking it! After he got that far he found our there was some type of mounting hardware shaped like a T that he could have turned with a thin wrench that would have released the mirror. Your local RV dealer may be able to help you with this and may sell or lend you the wrench that's needed.

Call Winnebago Customer Service "maybe" they can give you an exact answer. Or at least they could attemtp to find out how its mounted.

Course you could always take the picture down and then mount the mirror with mirror clips.
Good Luck

We've successfully used a combination technique of a nail/screw combined with velcro to hold a couple items in our coach.

I found that heavy duty velcro by itself just doesn't hold up to the constant weight of an item on the wall in the high temperatures the closed up RV sometimes has so I started hanging my items on a nail or screw combined with velcro to prevent swinging or bouncing. The combination works well to hold the items securely but still permit removal.
