I read a thread several weeks ago about plastic guides breaking. We couldn't see anything wrong with ours. Today when I put the big slide out a big piece of chewed up plastic fell out. I'll call Monday. Sure hope this is covered under the 3 year HWH. Anyone else have this happen?

The guides were replaced on our coach when at Forest City, and we were one month short of three years old. Yes, the three year warranty covers the slides. This seems to be a common problem. In addition, have the tech replacing the guides check the alignment of the slide as it was found our slide was out of alignment which may have caused the guides to break.

my itasca is 5 years old and we use the slides a lot..i just noticed a piece of plastic fell out of the rear section near the dinette..i checked the front section and it appears a small piece is missing there..also it appears there are plastic guides on both sides of the front arm and none in the rear..what procedure is required to replace them..do you have to remove the slideout..thanks..jim
