Years ago 40/50;; there was allways a problem With power. camp grounds had 100 spaces with maybe 10 that had power.. So I made up a 4"by4" post 24" high with a steel spike on it ,when we got parked I would stick it into the ground near the rear corner of the coach.. Fellow campers would ask if they could plug in. One wife Devorced her husband for being such an IDIOT and not getting that spot. Well we were much younger at that time. It was fun.. That brings me to the next point; People were allways complaining about there batteries, So a couple of us Got togeather And made a small box It was made out of Aluminum 4 "square And 2 " high We put 2 + 5/16 Copper bolts One on each side, And 1 1/8 bolt on the top of this little box. Now remember They were insulated bolts but hooked to anything on the inside of this little completly welded box; We had 10 coachs That we installed them on. Not telling the owners what was in there. Just an expierment; alter 2 months we took them back off and asked for there opion 7 said they liked it; 2 saw no differance, 1 asked if he could be honest. we said yes. He said He would spend his money on beer;;, So what does that tell you;; It's this With all that information and $10.00 you can buy a cup of cheap coffee;; Life is good;; Oh I still carry the plug post. For a laugh;;

I know someone else who does that.. When we gather in the desert there is competition to get "The only 50 amp site"

I know someone else in this group who was somewhat surprised when their generator filed to find they were indeed parked on a 30 amp site. But the 30 amp outlet (A genuine TT-30) was hidden.

Thankfully... I knew where it was hidden.

I might add, it only provided power part time.. They had to use their batteries at night, Same as me (My generator feeds it)

At GNR, back in the days before power some of the same shenanigans went on including a water hose bib.
