kevin1959, 2013 was the first year Winnebago started using the Battery Manager Relay. Look at the battery mode solenoid and relays and see if they look like the ones in post #22.
Here is the link to the troubleshooting guide. Both battery disconnect relays must be off (not disconnected) for the system to function.
If you do not have a volt meter you can use the read outs on the One Place panel to check for correct operation.

Mine look sexactly like pics in post 22. Plugged into shore power, I put a meter on Coach Terminal of BIM and it read 13.4 volts. Then checked Chassis Terminal of BIM and it read 11.9. volts (BIM bad ? Or am I not seeing this correct. Also not getting the 3.5 to 6 volts from Dash Switch Terminal on BIM to ground as mentioned in BIM Troubleshooting guide) I used chassis ground, not BIM ground terminal, not sure if that would matter.
BIM Troubleshooting Guide references "Turn on Battery Charger". What is tht referring to ?

kevin1959, they are referring to the converter/charger. If you are connected to shore power the converter will be on, also the 13.4 Volts reading indicates the converter is on and charging the batteries.
I would try reseating the connects on the BIM then if you get the same reading I would said it is bad.
Be careful working around the battery wires!!!!

In summary it is 100 % clear that your converter is not charging your chassis batteries and its unclear if your coach has that capability in place. I would continue your quest to confirm if you have a system in place and then get it fixed under warranty. If your warranty has expired I would just get the trikle start or occasionally top the batteries off with an eexternal charger.

kevin1959, when your at the coach check a couple of thinks.
First, see if the boost switch will energize the relay engine not running.
second, see if the relay will energize when the engine is running.

My RV is back at home for some projects and I finally have a photo of the solanoids and all the switching wiring that Grant requested previously. It is attached below.
I'm not sure that my Adventurer has the device in the middle that Grant shows as the device that charges the chassis battery when the house batteries are fully charged.
I did connect a trickle charger (a 3-stage smart charger) and have fully charged the chassis battery now. It's super easy and convenient to do since the chassis battery is right next to the basement compartment that has the inverter and a 110v outlet. There's even a small trap door in the floor to run the wires between the battery compartment and the 110v outlet.
Assuming my Adventurer does not have a chassis battery charge function outside of running the engine this is a great way to keep the chassis battery at full charge when plugged into shore power for 30 days and longer.

creativepart, the large yellow wire and the large red wire are connected to the Battery Isolation Manager Relay. Below is a 3D rendering of the relays in your coach. Easier to see without the wires in the way. Took a few seconds to figure your picture out, it is upside down. Also added a picture of the BIM. As it sets in your coach you are looking at the end with the two large terminals.

Hey Grant thanks. But the photo isn't upside down. That's exactly how it looks.
Correction - it's upside down. I can see that now.

So, does this prove that I should have chassis battery charging when the coach batteries are full and that my system isn't working correctly?
It's hard to get it fixed under warranty when both Winnebago and the Dealer say it doesn't have coach battery charging out side of the Ford Alternator.

creativepart, Yes you have it. Now what do you need to get the dealer to fix it? There are several Winnebago documents that talk about the BIM including your owners manual. And the service parts list for your coach says you have one.
