Polishing the 3M clear bra

I'm very impressed with overall look and shine of our 14 Meridian 42E after me and my son ceramic coated it, that is EXCEPT for the 3M clear film that is on the lower half of the front end. I've tried multiple products based on friends suggestions with very little change and while it looks a little better it's still dull looking in comparison to the rest of the coach. Has anyone had any luck polishing the 3M clear film and bringing back the shine to it? Thanks guys

I've used the recommended 3M product (? brand / very expensive / didn't improve appearance), have now switched to 303. 303 helps keep it cleaner but it doesn't make it shine. I think with age and micro-abrasion it 'dulls' over time.

Some friends are removing the shield and having extra clear coat sprayed on. If the base coat is good that should help with appearance.

I had mine removed

It was getting mildew under the plastic. Put a good wax on it and it shined up real nice.

Go on YouTube and watch videos of ceramic coating and you'll see many clips and a wide range of different products being installed and just how good it is. I had my Ford Raptor and my wife's Jeep and my sons F150 professionally done and they still look amazing 2yrs after being coated. I used a brand new product from Mothers called CMX ceramic spray coating. It's an inexpensive consumer friendly version of ceramic that's very easy to use. After thoroughly cleaning the coach it's a one step process very similar to using a spray detailer. Our vehicles were a 3 step process and definitely had to be professionally done. These pics just don't do the shine any justice at all.

I'm going to look into that.

Just got back from a four week trip and the coach is FILTHY. I need some exercise and I think that will fill the bill.

I plan to clay bar the hood of my toad and experiment on it first. Actually took the toad to a carwash as it was sooo dirty. I always handwash my vehicles but it really needed the carwash brushes on it.

I watched the video and it looks like Walmart has it for $16.95. Thanks for the tip.
