I have this annoying popping noise coming from the dash. At least that where it sounds like it is coming from. It is only happens when hitting bad bumps in the road. I would describe it as metal flexing. It just doesn't happen often enough to get a handle on it. It would be nice to lift the dash to see where it is coming from but that is way to unsafe while driving. Also I can't see anything wrong when I have searched under the dash & outside under the dash. I was looking for a loose screws or bolts. Perhaps even a crack in a piece of medal. Has anyone else had this problem or have a clue of want it might be. It does appear to travel. Just ahead of drivers seat on the front part of dash near the windshield & as far to the right as the middle of the windshield. I don't think it is serious but one never knows!

The first issue is to identify where it's coming from. Frankly that's a matter of getting someone's head in a position to do audio tracking. Not easy.

Once you do that we might be able to help you

I had a serious rattle, turned out to be the package tray (Where you put maps or such) and I found a heavy, solid, steel, bar about an inch below the bottom of the tray

Cut a "Fun Noodle" to length, slit it lengthwise half way through froming a split pipe I could shove over the bar.

No more rattle
