Positioning Eternabond

How far down in the gutter would one place Eternabond when sealing the roof seam?

If you have a metal wrap to the gutter I would just stay with tape along the roof and metal seam on roof. I would also use a Marine Sealant, can buy at West Marine, along seam at gutter line and also along the floor level over your compartment doors to keep water out of them.

On ours I used 2" wide Eternabond, I have the lower edge of the Eternabond at the bottom edge of the gutter. The 2" allowed from the gutter bottom to above the roof to side wall seam to be covered.

I too put my two inch Eternabond on exactly as zippo did. Its been on three years with no problems. Be sure to clean the surface good before installing.

I also used the 2" wide eternabond, and what I did is made sure the tape covered the rivets that held the drip rail on, ends up being about halfway down the drip rail and helps to keep the install straight.
