Patti, this works for me:

1. I use a photo editor (Microsoft Office Picture Manager) to size my photos for 'web' use.
2. Log on to the Photo section of IRV2, click 'Upload Photos'. Use the browse feature and find your photo on your PC. Click 'Upload' and the photo will load onto IRV2. It will show 'Pending Approval' until one of the forum administrators approves it.
3. Once the photo/s are approved you can paste them in your messages.

I thought that I tried that but I can't seem to find the pictures to paste into my post. Where are they?

I guess I'm stupid, but I can't figure out how to put the little thumbnail picture into my profile so that it shows up under our ID. I've uploaded a picture of our RV and it's been approved, but I can't figure out what to do next. I went in to edit my profile and I can see something about "avatar" but that just looks like clipart. I can see my picture in my gallery but don't see anywhere there to make it into my thumbnail. Help!
