I have a 2003 Sunrise and have noticed that the fan on my power converter has not run for the past 24 hours. Is this a normal operation or is it possible that the fan could have burned out. Will the converter still operate without the fan running off and on. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so what could be the probable cure.

The fan on ours only runs when the converter is having to keep up with a heavy demand. Test yours by turning on all 12 volt items at same time ...all lights, heater blower... everything that uses 12 volts. That should cause your converter fan to kick on to keep it cool.

That is normal. Only when internal temps reach a certain point will it cycle on.

Thanks for the input. I did notice that there are 2 fuses on the back of the converter. Is it possible that these fuses might have blown and the fan does not operate. I have felt the converter and it is still warm, but the fan still does not come on. Any advice would be appreciated.
