Power steering pump problem

Has anyone had experience repairing/replacing the power steering pump on the 350 Cummins (ISC) engine, Freightliner Custom Chassis? Mine is leaking and a quick estimate from Freightliner was shocking. Help appreciated.

Don- pump should be rebuildable tho for cost & timing you'll need a quote. Try looking up Berendson Fluid Power (google) and see if they have a shop in your area. They do chassis hydraulics for a wide variety of vehicles and are pretty savvy; they are dealers most places for Saur-Danfoss which made a lot of pumps associated w/Cummins engines. If yours is shaft-driven off the forward side of the air compressor, its probably a SD pump.
