Power washing

I just got my Insurance for the 2003 Winnabego sightseer and I am planning on power washing the undercarriage for there are numerous cob webs and spider eggs from sitting....My questions is is it O.K. to power wash with out sustaining any damage to unit?

Use a wide degree nozzle ( less direct cutting action) and watch how close you get with the wand. I use an electric unit which tends to output a lower pressure than the gas units. Use caution near electrical connections and junction boxes.

If you have one of those small 1500-2000psi units have at it....
Above 2000psi? do what george said.
A 90degree wand is ideal... Most Home Depot places...

I carry a 1500psi model and do this all the time after a snow drive (which I do often). The engine/xmission connectors are all WeatherPack and fine. There really are no other chassis connectors your going to mess with by spraying from underneath. And of course the chassis parts get this wet treatment all the time during rain... You shouldn't shoot the spray at the chassis/steering joints (where you grease) for long - unless you plan to grease afterwards...

Thanks for the input, took your advise and all is well so far...I started another Thread on how to change out my decals so please respond to it if you know the easiest way to take the old ones off.
