Progressive Industries part missing question

I just purchased a Progressive Industries EMS HW30-C for my Adventurer. Install went pretty easy until I noticed the remote display was not in the case. All the other parts were, just no remote display. Not sure how to go about getting one (from Progressive, the reseller???) but my main question is can I use the unit without the remote display until I get the part? Have a trip planned this weekend and would hate to uninstall everything if I don't need to. Thanks for the help in advance.

You can use without the remote. The remote only displays status messages and provides ability to bypass some surge protection features. They sell a unit without the remote, so hopefully the reseller presented the unit with remote accurately.

Thanks for the information on this one. The reseller did apologize for the mistake and is sending a remote display. All is good.

Make sure they send the cord if you did not receive it also.
