Purchased our 2014 Winnebago Towable 30 RE

We took delivery of our new 30RE last weekend and are very excited about putting it on the road next year fulltime. We looked at many different TT before deciding on the 30 RE but after seeing it the magnetic force must of kept drawing us back.

It will be just the wife and I along with our two dogs when we hit the road next summer following the US Open's in Pinehurst that we are commited to volunteer at (Man the bad luck). 34 years of governemnt work is enough and I am counting down the days to my final day next spring.

Will be adding pictures next spring as we arranged with our dealer to maintain it in storage over the winter. I can't say enough good things about Bill Plemmons in Rural Hall NC. Our tow vehicle is the 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn. The weight limitations on this was another prime factor that brought his back to the 30RE as well besides Winnebagos long history of quality and reliability.

I hope you will post on your experience with the "W" towable next year.

That is a nice roomy unit for 2 people and can be towed with a F 150 V 8 or a Ram 1500 with the V8 Hemi as long as the rear gear ratio are correct.

3.93 with anti-slip so we got that issue covered. Will be curious to see how it affects the gas mileage. Extremely happy with the 22 to 23 we get on the hwy now. Guessing it will drop 12 to 13 with the TT behind me.
