I am looking at a 2004 Saturn Vue 2 wheel drive. Does anyone know if the 2 wheel drive is towable? I have checked the Motorhome Magazine 2004 guide but it does not specify 4 whl 2whl or all wheel drive. I thought I read somewhere that the all wheel drive is the towable one.

In order to be towable the 2004 Vue needs to be a V6 "OR" 4 cylinder with the 4 speed manual transmission. AWD does not matter.

Only a 5 speed manual was available when I bought my 2004 Vue. Is there something special about the 5 speed that would disallow flat towing?

Don't know if this will answer your question but, I have a 04 or 05 2wd v6 Saturn Vue, automatic 5 speed that I tow 4 down. Have to run it thru the gears while sitting still and the let it run in neutral for three minutes. Had a switch installed so I don't have to pull the fuse and awaaaaaaaaaay we go ..Repeat the gear procedure after 7 hours towing. Can't speak to the other model Saturns. Check with a reliable dealer, preferably the sales manager ,,check again and go by what they say. Hope this helps, Good Miles
