I have adjusted my engine door to keep it from dragging on the bottom. It seems to be angled too far out at the top. Please look at my photo and tell me if your engine door is like this. Thanks.

Rex, I have exact coach and My engine cover is real hard to get closed proper and even on 2 occasions have stoped to find it down, but yours is definatly out of alignment. When I get a chance I will look at mine to see What your problem might be.

Thanks, I will give it another try. I think the bolts on the body are installed in the wrong location. I know this is the reason it is dragging on the right side bottom.

Have you checked to see if your fiberglass door is seperating from the metal frame. This is apparently a common problem with Winnebago products. I had three places on mine had to be redone.

The fiberglass appears to be firmly attached to the metal mounts. Once we get some down time I will attempt to re-adjust the mounting bolts.

I have tried everything possible to adjust my engine door and have finally concluded that the door arms are bent. It has been like this since our coach was new. I wish I had taken the opportunity to have it checked when under warranty. I will have my dealer look at it the next time I am in for maintenance.

Have you thought of maybe they installed the mountings in reverse, to the proper way they should have been mounted in the first place. "007"

Had the same problem with my 05 vectra. I had to remove the doo and all the hardware completely. I found some of the brackets were bent and missalligned. After correcting the bends I reattached the door and readjusted the stops. It's fine now, but it is a bear to work with. You need two people to do align it properly. Good luck.

Funny you should mention engine door....

When we looked ot our 40AD we asked the dealer to get the engine door adjusted as it didnt seem to close flush at the top.

In PDI they worked on it for a few hours to no avail. They concluded they would have to order new hinges for me.

They guy came out last week with the new hinges from Winnebago - sealed in the box. The guy installed them. And adjusted them. And adjusted them again. And again. And again.

It closes a little better than it did, but is still not completely flush at the top or butting up against the top rubber bumpers. But it is better than it was.

Frankly, I saw no differences in the old hinges compared to the new ones. I dont really think the old ones were bent or warpped.

Im hoping to someday read about a fix on this forum. But until then, I will just have to live with this for now.
