Question: screen door and outside door.

I just got 26' Itasca 2011.

To get the screen door to latch you have to give it a gentle push or tug. Anything else and it bounces away from the door jam. I adjusted the screen door to give the latch a bigger bite and then the screen would latch even if a stiff wind slammed it shut. Well, that fixes that, I said to myself proudly.

Nah. That night when I tried to exit the coach I was sealed in. Yup. I had to unlatch the screen so the outside door would open. I could have locked myself out. What a mess that would have been. I was very careful when I walked the dog. In the AM I readjusted the screen door but now I'm back to where I was originally.

How do you adjust the screen door so it will latch when the door swings shut and not seal me into the coach or lock me out?

TIA,
Max

How about a picture of the style of latch you have. Someone will likely have an answer for you.
