I am looking at a 06 Ellipse and have questions on options.

The Literature says the unit has a spare tire carrier, if so where is it?

Looked at dash did not see a air bag dump switch, has automatic levelers, is there a dump option?

Feature list also says it has GPS owner thought it was built into rear view camera if it has it where would it be?

Thanks for any help with these questions

Don

I'm not completely up to date on the Ellipse, but, if it is a rear engine diesel, I don't think that it has a spare tire.

The dump button for the air suspension is typically on the HWH control panel. On my Journey, it is the second button from the top on the left side. However, if the engine is running when you dump the air suspension, when you release it, the suspension will refill.

I'd check with a dealer to find out where a GPS option would be located.

I looked at the Ellipse information on the Winnebago website, and there is an additional LCD display mounted above the dashboard. I would assume that this is the GPS display. It may also show some other functions. You can check this out and get a brochure over the web as a PDF file.

I have an 06' Ellipse; like most DPs, there is no provision for a spare tire due to it's weight and size. The dump switch is integrated into the HWH jack/slide panel; it's either an automatic function with the levelers or can be initiated by itself. The GPS would be a separate screen that sits on the flat square portion of the dash just above the rear view camera screen. Hope this helps.

Thanks Kieth.

I was looking at the 06 specifications and in auto chassis features it says spare tire storage is standard. I couldnt find any so I guess it must be a misprint or a feature that never happened.

Good luck with the Ellipse. We love our 07 and are now full timing in it.

As the other replies have pointed out, there's no spare tire... you wouldn't even want to think about retrieving or stowing one of those things. The manual dump switch is part of your HWH panel by the driver's right ankle.

Enjoy.
