Hi all, I am going to upgrade the in-dash radio in my Sightseer and before I reinvent the wheel I was wondering.....Are there adapters available for this and where? The current dash unit is a Panasonic CQ-DPX303 and very difficult to use while driving. A friend gave me a Kenwood KDC-4002 with a remote which should make operation better.
The Panasonic connector is direct wired into the harness of the motorhome and it sure would be nice to skip the cutting and splicing. So it would be an adapter to convert the plug on the Panasonic to plug into the Kenwood.
TIA, Gary

I just took mine to an auto stereo place (they sell the very loud, obnoxious jughead radio/amp systems. But, they also have good deals on car radios and can refit to almost anything. I put in a remote AM/FM/CD Stereo which also can play any of my 3800 MP3s.

You could always touch base with one of the tech specialists at Crutchfield.com - I'll bet they have something.
