A 34 inch length of my rain-gutter and roof were pulled about 1/4 inch from the sidewall by the slide topper during a windstorm. Long lengths of rain-gutter are OK on each side of this 34 inch section. How can I repair this problem?
Winnegago offered to repair the problem, but two dealers nearby dropped Winnebago and now the closest dealer is 155 miles away. Should I take the long drive?

I would take the long drive in order to have Winnebago pick up the tab, AND to have one of their dealers do the work AND to have those facts in their record for my coach in case of future problems.

Just make sure the dealer is going to use the correct sealant as specified by Winnebago.
On my brand new '04 Chieftain the dealer service used silicon sealer on the roof seam to repair a 6 in crack in the roof above the awning. The crack itself was a fiberglass repair, but the roof seam was filled with silicon. In just months it was not holding and allowing water intrusion. I have been fighting for 4 yrs now to get a good seal where the silicon has contaminated the surface.
Good luck,
