ABSOLUTELY water in an overhead cabinet is a warranty issue!!! Aside from the obvious need to have it repaired, getting the problem in the file record for your coach is important in the event of future problems after the warranty has expired.
We had problems with our front slide leaking off and on for a couple of years, depending on how hard it rained, how hard the wind was blowing, and which direction we were parked relative to the wind (our slides have topper awnings).
One dealer found a couple of small holes in the top of the slide out "near the microwave", probably from screws in the build process. I eventually took it on myself to seal the inner flange after another much smaller leak (the dealer was supposed to have done that but apparently concluded the screw holes were the entire problem). That cured the problem. Then we had a leak through the top of the rear slide, and found the same solution ...sealing the inner flange to roof joint with silicon caulk myself.
