Rear trac bar manufacturer

Our 2015 Vista (26) is very sensitive to wind and passing trucks. Have done cheap handling fix, Safe T Steer and alignment to no avail. My research seems to indicate that a rear trac bar might help. There are several vendors such as Blue OX and Ultra RV. Both products seem similar, but the Ultra RV is a good deal cheaper. Does any one have experience with either of these products? Which might be better?

No. I'm happy with RoadMaster. I don't know how it compares in cost.

sightseers, we just put a Ultra RV track bar on my son's 2016 Vista LX 35F. He said it made a world of difference, greatly reduced the rear push when begin passed by a truck.

I also have an Ultra RV trac bar on my 2013 Itasca Sunstar 26HE. I don't have any experience with any other trac bar, but I am happy with this one.

Basically the difference is in how they attach to the coach. All do the same thing with comparable effectiveness. I bought one used, was from Blue Ox iirc. It made a huge improvement. Which you buy is not a big deal, imho.

I would compare the different manufacturers closely. Likely you will see a slight differences but IMO it is to avoid patent issues. If you have questions call and find out, I have found that works the best for me. Like vsheetz said, it is all in the mounting. If this is a DIY project get under and take a look for problems.

If you are so inclined, some have made their own. I think I got a link and I'll try to find it. IIRC it was on the Workhorse chassis but the idea is the same.

EDIT: Here is the link http://oemys-performance.com/diytracbar.htm

X 4? For Brazel's Ultra track bar.
I needed a Harbor Freight " Earthquake" wrench to loosen the pumpkin bolts. The bolts had red locktite on the threads.
A regular Campbell impact wrench didn't work With 125 psi air pressure.
No joy with a 25" breaker bar And pipe cheater either. It just flexed a lot.
This track bar does it's job well.

I installed a Super Steer track bar. I don't have any reference for other models as this is our first RV. I can say that with about 6500 miles of travel in the past 3 months and about 1200 of that with the track bar that it helps greatly!

Bought mine off Amazon and my brother and I installed it in about an hour at his house.

I'll cast a single vote for the Blue Ox we installed on our previous 2011 Ford chassis, have no experience with any other. ANY trac bar will improve the handling.

Had Super Steer installed in the rear and RoadMaster sway bar in front. Makes a huge improvement in wind and when trucks pass. Also have the Safe T Plus.

my own experience with roadmaster has me convinced that there isnt any better company to deal with out there. i have used their parts, all of them, without any problems for over 12 years. prime product, and prime people.
