Rear tv shelf removal

I have a 1999 Brave SE that came equiped with a small TV located in the bedroom which is mounted on a corner shelf. At first glance I don't see any visible screws that hold it to the wall, possibly studs attached from the other side inner wall.
Has anyone removed this shelf? looking forward to getting rid of it and mounting a new flat screen to replace it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well Sir,
I'm sure that each one of these are a tad different in terms of how things are mounted and done. On ours, an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT, the bedroom TV actually had to be removed before the face frame of the cabinet did. Once the TV was out, I had to use a mirror and a light to see what held that face frame in place. It ended up it was a series of screws that held it to some side pieces of steel angle. Once those screws were out, that face frame came out but, not without some special tweaking of it just a super slight amount.
I look at it this way, someone built it, so someone can UNBUILD IT!

In our '94 Brave, I trimmed the shelf back a few inches, but left it so it would hold the 12v flat screen. I never removed it, but used a Skil saw and some trim moulding. IIRC, there were screws on the underside that screwed into the wall studs. One of these days when I get one of those round tuits, I'll put a couple of screws through the plastic base and into the wood of the shelf. The little shelf below still holds the remote.

Just finished doing my bedroom tv replace.....
Had an old 13" tv in a custom oak cabinet.
Pics will show sequence of project, from original cabinet, hole after cabinet removed, oak pcs to refinish hole, oak installed in hole, bracket & tv installed.

By the way....important comment....
With the hole open, I had a drop down access to the floor. So, I ran a 110v electric wire from my converter plug in to the new cabinet. The original tv was 12v, now I have a 110v plug in my new cabinet and just used a 19" flat screen tv that I had in the house....not being used.
The bracket was purchased from eBay...very heavy duty.
