Rear View Monitor Dead

The back up camera monitor went blank on me the other day. 2006 Tour FD. My first thought was a fuse. I scanned through the owners manuals (all 3) searching for the location or other possible causes. I googled the problem and found lots of variations from all different model RV's. One guy had a furnace fan motor blade rubbing causing the fuse on the same circuit as the monitor to blow. I downloaded the electrical schematics for 12 volt systems and scoured them high and low. I gave up and called Winnebago Service. After 30 min. of searching he could not find a circuit or fuse for it anywhere. I called Lichtsinn Motors in Forest City and the service tech had no ideas. He asked a shop mechanic and said it might be inline behind the monitor itself. I said "how do I access that?" After consulting with the shop guy, the answer was... to remove the dash. I was having nightmarish visions of this until I looked on the top of the dash and found a couple screws. Flipped up the top of the dash and wahlah ! One burnt inline 2.5 volt fuse.
I post this to hopefully save someone else from going thru hours of searching to fix a 5 minute job.
