Chieftain with jalouise rear windows and an Atwood worm gear into which two rods hook. My question is do I have to take the entire window frame out to replace the worm gear assembly? There is no visible nut, bolt or screw so my guess is that it must attach from below.
Thanks

Jack, I'd try calling these guys first:

Winnie Service (Forest City): 641-585-6255

or possibly Lichtsinn Motors (a big dealer in Forest City w/ lotsa parts & knowledge):
1-800-343-6255, or
parts@lichtsinn.com, or
service@lichtsinn.com
