Winnebago is recalling model year 2007-2008 Access, Aspect, Sighteer and Vista, model year 2007-2008 Itasca Impulse, Cambria, Sunova, and Sunstar, model year 2009-2010 Winnebago Access, Sightseer and Vista, model year 2009-2010 Itasca Impulse, Sunova, and Sunstar motorhomes. These motorhomes may have a missing stove partition that isolates the furnace air. If the furnace is operated at the same time as the stove and partition is missing, the stove flame may go out and the propane gas will continue to flow, which has the potential to ignite resulting in personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage. Dealers
will correct this situation by installing a stove partition that isolates the stove from the furnace return air at no charge to the owner. The recall is expected to begin on or before October 16, 2009. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885 - Here is a Link

As for the Aspect/Cambria. It seams to be the 26A units. I called Winny to check on this recall several months ago.

In less than 2 years I have received recalls for a fuel line problem and a brake problem and now one for the furnace is coming. I have a 2004 35N Sightseer with a workhorse chassis. It sure makes me question the engineering capability of Winnebago. These recalls are no charge for the fix but when you are several miles from the Dealer they prove costly to the owners.

Recalls on the Chassis stuff is not Winnebagos fault. There are alwasy chassis problems that will creep up over the years. Some turn into recalls.

The recall on the stove/furnace from Winny. Not sure how they could miss a few units in so many models.

Even a stick built house. You will have the builder coming back to fix things. That they over looked or did not do right.
