Without digging out all my manuals I have a quick question.......
While driving down the road, or sitting still, will the inverter, 2000w, operate the refrigerator on 110v power?

My guess is that it will, providing that the 120 volt outlet that the refer is plugged into is also part of the inverter circuit. I know my unit has two duplex outlets in the outside refer vent compartment. One is hook to the inverter and the other is not. I think the one duplex that the ice maker is using is 120 volt shore power only. The other concern is that while powering the refer from the inverter and batteries, are you replenishing the batteries from your alternator or are you simply discharging them?
What do others have to say regarding this question?

You can find out by looking at the fridge I think. There should be a light or some indicator that shows if you are running off LP or AC. Our first coach had LEDs the new one small digital display.

My fridge always run on inverter when moving or when boondocking. It runs colder on electricity. Good luck!!

Looking at the Body, 110 Volt Wiring Diagram for your coach it doesn't look like the fridge is powered by the inverter.

Ours had to be rewired to run from the inverter. If you don’t rewire the fridge, then the icemaker won’t run on a trip. After rewiring, the fridge 120 is no longer switched off as the last item on the energy management system.

FWIW On my unit the only part of the refrigerator that runs off the inverter is the ice-maker. Without Shore Power or GenSet running the refrigerator is powered by LP.

Mine runs fine on the inverter when not on shore power. Ice maker will also work if the water pump is on so that it can get fresh water to fill the the tray.

The refrigerator 120 VAC on the 2005 Vectra 40FD is wired through the inverter. A change made by Winnebago for 2005 that is not wired into the 2002 Chieftain 39T. Rewiring was fairly easy on ours although I was in much better shape at that time. The right side 120 VAC ran under the refrigerator and was easy to tap off of to power the fridge.

Not done...........
Just below the fridg. is my entertainment bay. It has a 110v power strip that works of the inverter. So, all I would have to do is un plug from the outlet in the fridg. compartment, re route the fridg. 110v plug to that power strip??
Is it that easy or is it more involved?

That was Easy! You’ll need to extend the refrigerator cord, possibly with a short extension, and then make an opening to route the cord through. Seal it back up and your done. I went the route of rewiring the power to the outlet the fridge plugs into.
