I have a 2002 Horizon 39QD...I noticed a clicking sound around the basement ac condenser grill area when not connected to shore power that sounds like a relay clicking on and off...I have never noticed this before..
When connected to shore power or the engine is running, the clicking is gone...All batteries are fully charged and in good shape...Before I crawl around under the belly of the beast to find the culprit, has anyone had this problem...Thanks

Maybe try turning off the hot water heater, both electric and gas and see if that is making the clicking sound.

I have a relay that clicks on and off in the bay under the driver seat where all the fuses, etc are located. I presume it is part of the BIRD system the keeps both my battery banks charged when plugged in, and from draining too much from one another when not plugged in. Don't know that your Horizon has that system. Another thought, my batteries, inverter, etc are located right beside my basement air -- if yours are in the same location, maybe it is something there? ...is your inverter on when you hear the clicking sound?

Savannah...water heater is off...

Paul...Inverter is off...The battery relays are up front above the generator...The batteries are in the area that the sound is coming from..I'll do some checking tomorrow...
