I love most everything about my Journey, but greasing the fan bearing on the CAT engine is a major hassle. Has anyone heard about some kind of remote grease fitting? I'm trying to come up with an idea to run a high pressure 1/8" hose to someplace more easily accessible.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

I greese the bearing once/year. There is an access plate in the bedroom that's easy to remove and the grease fitting is staring at you when the panel is removed. Are you trying to access the bearing from under the coach? There is available an extension you can install that would allow access from under the coach. I've seen them at Tractor Supply, but removing the bedroom hatch once/year wasn't that big a deal for me.

Just fyi, according to the Scheduled Maintenance table in the Freightliner KnowingYourChassis guide CAT 3126E Serial #HEP15357 & above, all CAT C7, and all side radiator installations do not have the Fan Drive Pulley grease fitting.

I believe 2004 or 2005 C-7 went to the sealed bearing that does not require lube. I do know 2003 and prior require lube.
