We have a 2008 Winnebago Voyage 32H. Neither the steering wheel or the small remote will communicate with the Jensen radio. I changed batteries with no luck. Any suggestions? Clint Duncan

Clint, it's possible that the wire(ing) from the IR sensor has become disconnected from the connection in the harness from the back of the radio. Since neither the "easy button", or the "hand held" works, it suggersts a common cause. The sensor ( on my 04) is a round yellow ( appx 5/8') plastic bulb above the IP in the dash. I know of a few that had gotten disconnected...rgr...

I'm curious to see what you find. My steering wheel remote stopped working but the other one, the hand held credit card sized remote still operates as advertised.

I found the battery was dead on my remote. Also check the placement of the battery, if installed wrong, a fresh battery will still not work. I also found, at least it seems so, that the steering wheel remote seems to go dead very quickly.

.
Fleetman, You may have tried this but I would try the battery in the credit card remote in the steering wheel remote in case you got a bad battery. I agree with Stevegd007 the wheel remote tends to go through batteries. I have this coach about 1 1/2 yrs and am on 3rd wheel remote battery but still on same batteries in credit card remote batteries that were in it when I bought the coach.
