Today I bit the bullet and removed three doors that had been damaged by the previous owner. It wasn't as bad as I had imagined but it didn't create a warm feeling for the big W either. I could actually have removed two doors without taking the whole trim piece off but the wheel valance had to come off too. The trim piece hides the three screws per hinge that actually holds the doors on so it has to come off. The most maddening thing was the aft awning leg support just above the trim piece that I had to unbolt because it rests on the trim and the trim piece must be raised about a 1/4 inch to clear the support rail under the trim. I was able to use my DeWalt right angle drill to remove the trim hold down screws, one in each hinge. It wasn't a perfect fit but the little trim screws were not doing anything but holding the trim tight to the support rail beneath. If any of you have to do this job I learned a couple of things. One, undo all of the hinge screws except one in each end hinge to hold the door while you remove the screws that hold the door support rod. Then get a box or some object that will fit under the bottom of the closed door so that when you undo the last two screws the door won't fall down. Two, if you have a magnetic screw driver bit use it to keep from dropping the screws that you remove. You will find that you need three hands occasionally and the magnet helps. Three, if you don't have a right angle screw gun you can use the little right angle screw drivers. It will be very slow though. I'll update the re-assembly as soon as the doors get back from the body shop.

Here is a couple of pictures of the trim off and the hinge screws still in one door. I'm also including a one man power brake bleeder that I will use tomorrow.
