Removing Dash Radio in 07 Adventurer

Hello

First post! We just bought our first motorhome after years of towing a travel trailer. We picked up a 2007 Winnebago Adventurer 35A which suits our needs perfectly and seems to have been maintained very well. I would like to add an aux port to the dash radio and know there are RCA cables coming out of the back of the radio. I used the tools included with the coach to release the radio but it only slides out about 3" and stops. Not sure if the wires are hung up on something as I can't find any way to see up in back of the radio. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You might explore the dash board top. They often have a section that can be removed, held by velcro or snaps. You might also unlatch your driver's seat and lift it off the post, it will give more access to under the dash. The panel the radio is mounted in might also be unscrewed and tilted down to work behind it.
