I know this has been discussed before but I don't think it has been recently.

I would like to be able to remove the screen portion of my screen door to have a better view while driving and so the passenger seat occupant can have a better view too.

I know that 3-Ts once sold a roll-up type but I no longer see it on their website ...perhaps a bad product? Prior threads have discussed removing the screen and having a frame made to hold the screen that could make removing it easy. Those who have done it used either wing nuts or velcro.

Has anybody done this recently and if so, how did you do it?

I realize that the newer winnie diesel pushers will have this as a standard feature ...and also Monacos have had this feature for some time from what I've heard.

Thanks for any comments.

Here's an earlier thread discussing this: Roll up screen for entry door . I don't know if it was ever on 3-Ts website, but I would just give them a call and ask if it's available. That's what I did when I bought mine. If not, you should be able to buy it from Lichtsinn Motors Parts .

Thanks, Chris! That's the thread I remember reading but couldn't find it while quickly searching for it this morning.

I'll contact 3Ts to see if they still carry it. It's good to know that Atwood makes it. That will make it easy to describe.

If anybody else has purchased one recently for a good price, please post.

Thanks.

I bought mine from 3T and did have problems with it. I called and talked with a tech who told me they had had problems with them but he walked me through the fix and I'm happy with it now.
