In your big black "users manual" bag you should find two large wire U's
insert them into the slots in the front of your radio ... that will unlock the radio and it pulls out ...

That is kind of one of my problems. My big black "Users manual" does not have the two large wire U's. I purchased motorhome second hand.
I will look again just to make sure.

Go to a Ford dealer if you can't find the u-tools. They use them for a lot of Ford radios. As for removal, insert the tools in the holes on the side and push outward with both tools at the same time...then while keeping them spread, pull the radio out with the tools.

Would a Wire Coat hanger do the same?

I believe the wire coat hangers, cut and bent to the U would work. It just depresses on a spring If I remember correctly. Nothing to loose by trying it.

I decided to go and check my "magic Winnebago Bag" and there underneath everything were the u shaped rods. Popped it right out.
Thanks
