I'm working on replacing a broken window (see: Broken Window) and the window treatments have to come down to get to all of the screws holding the inner frame.

The side pieces are easy. I can't see any accessible screws holding the top valence or the day/night shade. How do these things come off?

Thanks,
John

The day / night shades are usually attached to the top of the window treatment with a clip that clips onto the shade header. Then there are screws that hold the window treatment to whatever they're screwed to. You can probably feel the clips rather than actually see them. Hope this helps you get them out.

My day/night shades were attached to the TOP of the window "treatments"/Lambriquins with a wood screw through each end of the shade ...with shade down pull pleats down until you find the screw. Once the shades were down, it was easy to find the screws holding the Lambriquins to the wall ...either on metal angle braces across the top, OR both top and sides near the bottom.
