repairing accuflex water hose in my 2013 Winnebago Journey

I have a 2013 Winnebago Journey 42E. The coach uses accuflex water hose for some of the water lines. The one I specifically and wanting to splice back together is the white 1/2 flex hose from the 12v pump to supply the coach. What I want to do is add a check valve & drain valve on the hose. When connected to city water there is pressure to the pump & the pump has a internal check valve that is supposed to stop the city water from feeding water into the water storage tank. This is not the normal route for filling the tank, it just so happens that this line is pressurized when city water is connected. The check valve in the pump seems to not seat very well after using the pump to supply water. I have replaced this check valve & it held for a few usages & then right back to allowing the water to backfill the tank. I have to remove this valve after every use of the 12v pump & recoat it with vaseline in order for it to stop back filling.

So I thought if I added a check valve with a spring & stainless ball it would do what the pumps rubber internal check valve is failing to do. So I need to know if I can use sharkbite connections or barbed fitting & standard hose clamps or do I need to find the clamps that Winnebago used on the water lines? Has anyone made a repair to these type of hoses? The Accuflex website was of no help. I plan on checking with my local plumbing supply store to see it they know anything about this type of water line.

dsbike sharkbite's will work there are some other brands of push on fittings that will work. Hose clamps will not. Check the big box stores.
