Coach in question - 99 Adventurer - Object - Replace the front A/C unit with a Heat pump Unit.
Currently two Coleman Model 8633876 (according to Winnebago) provide air conditioning (ducted) and a Suburban Gas Furnace the heat. After being in a couple MH with a heat pump, I thought that I would investigate the possibility. The current Coleman units I believe are 15K ea.
Coleman makes the Mach HP-2 (model 8535) which is a heat pump and 15K A/C unit.
The question is whether this is a straight up swap of units, or is additional wiring going to be required. A new thermostat with the electric setting will be required.
Anyone else done this?

My MH came with dual a/c units with heat pumps, so I can't readily answer your question. Do you have a Camping World nearby? If so, I would drop by with the MH and allow them to inspect your unit. Even if you don't, you can call them and talk to someone regarding upgrading your front unit.
